The 3 Women Series was done on a whim at the request of a woman who wanted a small painting. “I'll do three and you can chose your favorite,” I said. I took her as the inspiration for the soft pastel color schemes. The series has a light, buoyant feeling and foreshadows the eccentric shaped canvases to come.
