The Fresh-Start Plan (title from a Prevention Magazine cover) was not intended to be the last in the series, but was. I was already thinking of new directions and these took me away sooner than I expected. I was about to enter a transition period of about 2 years before the large, stylized paintings would take hold. It was a time of varied projects, a strong interest in medieval art, and deliberate unpredictability. It broke when an interpersonal conflict prompted me to do an early, cartoony version of Jacob and Adam and the paintings that followed.
