Self Portrait - 28 x 21 - oil on canvas

Self-Portrait, for lack of a better title, is a depiction of me in character of a conscientious but not necessarily innocent, young adult. The attitude is totally in keeping with the Wheel and Vessel series of which it was obviously a part, but those objects only appear as if on stage behind a curtain as I do try to separate and see myself more objectively. Self-portraits had been a large part of my output before then and it was natural to extend the pursuit into my more recent, realized works.
